The Pike Perch Festival has already become a tradition in Szigliget, where one of the most popular fish species of Lake Balaton, the pike perch, is celebrated with gastronomic and cultural programmes. The event, which will take place on 19-20 October, offers a relaxing experience in the picturesque surroundings of autumn Lake Balaton. The highlight of the event will be the presentation and tasting of specialities made from pike perch, during which you can learn about fish dishes prepared using different methods. You can also test your skills at the cooking competition, and the children can enjoy crafts and games. In addition to gastronomic experiences, the festival also offers a number of cultural programmes: live concerts, folk dance performances, and exhibitions of local artisans add colour to the weekend.
