Cherry blossom feast 2024 - Flower Opening Weekend in Nagykörű

Once again this year, the large and enticingly beautiful cherry trees of Nagykörű are eagerly awaiting visitors to celebrate the arrival of true spring. The 20 April event in the churchyard will include a frost-removal ceremony and tree-hugging: the latter is well worth a try, as the hugging of the trunks has a special soul-brightening effect. If you can, let’s stay on Sunday, too, when the Market of Körű offers a selection of local farmers’ and craftsmen’s wares.
