Christmas atmosphere spiced with the scent of mulled wine in Szeged, at several locations.
This year, the Szeged Christmas Weeks will be held between 27 November and 24 December. The most important downtown locations of the event are Dóm Square, Dugonics Square and Klauzál Square. Let the Christmas spirit permeate every inch of our being: taste mulled wine and festive delicacies. The children's favourites will certainly be the giant reindeer and Santa's sleigh! Do not miss the fair, where you can buy handicrafts and other goods that are ideal as Christmas gifts. Every Sunday, public figures and church representatives from Szeged light the candle on the town’s Advent wreath.
