Pranje na Dunavu – Danube washing

Hard, centuries-old work comes to life on the banks of the river, with a folklore show and baking-cooking completing the day. During the Danube wash, ladies, with the help of some men, practically take care of the tasks, soaking, soaping and soaking the clothes placed on the washbasin and then removing the dirt from the wet material with the edge of the washbasin until rinsing water no longer comes from textiles. The programs will start with the fire at three o'clock in the afternoon, and then at four o'clock the procession will start from the circle's headquarters on Táncsics Mihály Street to Sokac Ferry. The organizing association’s traditional group will start washing at half past five, followed by a cultural show. Dinner is expected to be ready by seven o'clock. The evening closes with a ball featuring authentic bands.
