Orczy-kastély

A half-day cavalcade of programmes in Gyöngyös. Surrounded by 4 hectares of arboretum-like parkland, the castle offers a choice of attractions. You can visit the Orczy memorial rooms, the exhibition on hunting history and local history, and there are also interactive rooms where you can learn about the geological eras. The country’s only woolly mammoth skeleton is also an unusual sight! If time permits, the mineral exhibition and the palm house are also worth a visit.
