Preserving tradition in the colorful universe of folk art: a whirlwind of music and dance in Hajdúszoboszló.
Between 11-13 July, Hajdúszoboszló will prove that folk traditions can bring joy to the modern everyday life of the 21st century. The rich programme includes Hungarian and Carpathian Basin folk music performances and dance performances, and in addition, in the Szent István Park, you can get an insight into the work of lace makers, potters, bead stringers, coopers and wicker weavers, among others, but you can also learn how gingerbread folk craftsmen work. The three-day festival is free to attend.
