The petrified surface of a Miocene drinking and wading site awaits you in the hall complex. On the sandstone benches, you can find traces of even-toed ungulates, predators, birds and protohorns, and you can also see the remains of a 46-metre-long ancient pine tree. The nature trail can be visited with a ticket during opening hours, and you can also request a guide book for the 7 stations.
